Soup Week @ Balzer Designs!

I'm thrilled to be featured this week over at the blog of the talented & inspiring artist,
Julie Fei-Fan Balzer.

Each day, she is showcasing scrapbookers who were featured on an episode of the TV show Scrapbook Soup...and I'm lucky enough to be one of them!

You can check out my layouts & instructions featured on the show HERE...you can also watch a free episode on their website each week, how cool is that?!

Here is a peek of another layout that is being shown over at Julie's blog...for the full layout, head on over there:

Thanks so much for everything, Julie! :-)

Elle's Sketch Challenge...

I played along with another sketch challenge...this one's from Elle's Studio:

Here's my take:

I just love the large circle accents, and the cut-out pennants & tags from Elle's Studio!

At first, I only meant to add a couple drops of the dark brown glaze and a hint of pink paint...but after a big mess-up, I had to just embrace it and go all-out with the crazy background, LOL.

Thanks for stopping by!

MME Blog Challenge #33...

I'm loving having more time to participate in a few challenges...
this week it's MME's blog challenge #33:

And here's what I created, using one of my fave beach shots from last year's Oregon trip:

Lovin' the aqua/teal/gold combo.

March Get Picky...

This month's sketch at Get Picky is all about the pennant/banner shape...used both as a mat and as accents:

I busted out some of my beloved Sass stash, and created this:

Love the look of these long/narrow triangles...gives a great boost of interest to the page without a lot of fuss.

Their expressions just crack me up, LOL.

To join in with this challenge, check out the other DT examples and the details HERE.

Get Inspired with Get Picky!

February's inspiration challenge at Get Picky is just lovely:

Love the delicate palette and floral details!
Here's what I did with it:

So excited to use one of the MANY sheets I bought of this MME paper, lol.  I also had to try the paint-drip technique that I've seen around quite a bit...definitely a fun new way to use my spray inks!

To play along with this challenge, check out the blog and other DT examples HERE.

A Year of Epiphany...

As my wonderful year with Epiphany Crafts comes to a close, I wanted to say a gigantic
THANK YOU, both to the company and to the inspiring designers I had the chance to work with...
it was such a great experience and I'm very grateful for it!

Here is a round-up of the Epiphany Crafts projects I haven't shown here yet.

Up first, cards:

I made this Valentine's Bee Mine set for my oldest daughter, which she loved. :-)
The idea for the bees on the card came from THIS blog...loved the idea of adding netting wings.

Next up, a Thanksgiving card that I filled with grateful thoughts for my kids:

Lastly, a simple baby card for my neighbor's new bundle of joy:

I made several gift projects showcasing Epiphany products...here's a look at a Valentine purse I made for daughter #2:

And here's her holiday bracelet...love these jewelry products:

Adorable and so easy! :)

Next up, a neighbor gift tag that is also a shaker-box tree ornament, made with packaging from some Epiphany buttons:

To finish up this photo-heavy post, here are a few last layouts, some featured at CHA/trade shows:

Epiphany & Pink Paislee
Epiphany Crafts & Cosmo Cricket
Finally, my all-time favorite Epiphany Crafts project:

Epiphany, Cosmo Cricket, Anna Griffin, and vintage strawberry bias tape.

Thanks again, Epiphany Crafts, for such an enjoyable, inspiring year!
